Our SL                Voyage

Conception & Initiation

August 2022

In the early stages of our project, we discussed our team roles and identified our target population group, expressing how each of us gravitated towards working with youths from single-parent families

Definition & Planning

September 2022

Defining youths from single-parent families as those with unwed parents, divorced parents, or have a loss of a parent helped us in identifying their needs and strengths. This stage of our project was crucial in enabling us to have a clear direction as to who and what gaps we were serving.

Advocacy Campaign

Social Media Advocacy Campaign Launch

October 2022

Lots of time has been put into recruiting, filming, and editing for the video series which is the highlight of our social media advocacy campaign deliverable. Each video and post has been carefully curated to encourage members of the public to have a greater sense of empathy and be inspired to come alongside to support youths whom they know are from single-parent families too.

Handbook Launch

Lifeline Handbook Launch

January 2023

Successfully launched our Lifeline Handbook with New Life Community Services early this year. Engaged a total of twelve youths from single-parent families and brought them on a journey of self-discovery.
