We heard many misconceptions about YSPF from those whom we interviewed.

We came in with the assumptions that they all YSPFs encounter or heard of misconceptions about them. However it is surprising to us that some do not encounter any. It is mostly thankful to the loving environment they grew up in.

We thought YSPFs may not be so willing to reveal that they came from a single-parent family but majority of them were quite open to share their story and life experiences growing up with one less parent. 

 

Hearing these inspiring stories once again reminded us how fortunate we are to grow up with both parents and to cherish them as much as possible.
